The Pilgrimage to the Core - Day 44

14 Oct 2015Jarsil
It has been a while since my last entry in the diary, but it was not wasted time.
I'm now about 1000 LY above the galactic plane,  over 7000 LY from my point of origin of this trip.

And today I found my first White Dwarf (more than one, to be hones), beside a couple of Neutron Stars. It has become more dangerous, because with White Dwarves there is little room for error.

This pic shows how close you exit from the hyperspace jump when the main star is a Dwarf:

My journey will drive me towards the Neutron Field, but the course is still due "north", because I didn't forget that my goal is to pay visit to the Great Annihilator and Sagittarius A*.
Do you like it?
