Heart Nebula exploration mission diary - Day 1

It's about time.I've been in the bubble for enough time to put my business in order, to change some things in my life it was high time I did.
And eventually I grow tired of all the people and decided to move out again.
The Millennium Phantom is not ready for the big trip I plan, but this will be a good enough test to ready her for the long journey that will begin in a few months.
Destination of this "little", 7K Light Years journey is the Heart's Nebula. Precisely, the black hole in its center.
This trip will be way different from the last, because I have in mind to look for some alien form of life or geological site that is off the main Thargoid presence area. Don't want to meet them for now, but I'd like to find some evidence of past civilisations.
The first part of the trip has been largely uneventful. I had to cone-boost twice, the first from a White Dwarf and the second from a Neutron star. It's always a tricky situation, you know you'll damage the ship a bit, but the distance gain is very, very helpful.
The Phantom is an excellent ship. Cool as a refridgerator in the engine room, a large jump capability and it's comfortable.
After a good bit of jumping and scanning around I found an interesting planet with some geological sites on it. An average G planet, 1.23, not so easy but certainly not an excessive effort for my thrusters. So I decided to land and examine one of those sites.
Made a round with the SRV and found some interesting material, for the first time I found technetium. It was also a nice view from the SRV.
Time to sleep a bit, tomorrow the leg will be longer.
