The 150KLy Journey - Day 11
26 Mar 2021Jarsil
Today I arrived at the Neutron star that was, originally, my planned end for the first leg of this epic journey.I had to arrive using the back door, since my navigational computer refused to take a more direct course. I suspect, having filtered out most stars type I gave it a very hard time planning a decent course.
I started the day landed on a very red planet. All was painted in rusty colours, much like Mars in the Sol system:
I found brain trees on the planet, they were absolutely worth the effort to scan e find them, I gathered a lot of materials.
I took a very nice picture of my Millennium Phantom looking at the bright red light
After about 20 jumps, I arrived around 1000LY under the galactic plane to the Neutron Star I was aiming to, and as always, it's a terrific and also terrifying view:
I wondered for a while if it was worth the effort to supercharge my FSD using the Neutron's jets, but I decided against it. I'm in no hurry, I've no need to stress my drive - to be honest, I absolutely need to keep it in top shape, the journey is so long that anything, literally ANYTHING, can happen. No unnecessary risks, then.
Next leg: the Pleua Nebula, about 25K Ly from here.
