3305-01-20 Not a Great Start

Standing on the bridge leading to the docking bay I can see the ship that I have been given command of. I know that starting out from the academy I am not going to be given a grand ship but the USS-Faragot looks like a rust bucket, that reminds me I need to stop by sickbay and get my booster shots.After a few hours of getting my new orders I headed over to see the dock master and arrange to get the ship ready for launch. I start the pre-flight inspection, the ship is much bigger than it looked from the docking bay bridge. After the outside inspection was done I cracked the seal and boarded ship, checked the cargo bay, wow was it small. I moved to the hanger and made sure the scarab was secure before heading to the cockpit. I radioed the ground crew to hook up a gpu so I could transition from a cold and dark to update the navigation computer and install my command codes.
The Dock master asked me to to drop off a data packet at Eranin 4 Survey in the ERANIN System. After docking at the station I noticed a leak coming from several of the thrusters and the dock master said it would take a day or two to repair so I shutdown the ship got a room on the station and that was the end of my first day. O this is going to be fun.
