*The bar was bustling with people. Tourists filled the booths and regulars filled the bar stools.*
"Bullshit!" Maul laughs. "A fucking asteroid base?!"
Rusty takes another swig of his drink.
"I swear kid, you'd just have to see it! From just the right angle it looks like a big fucking potato with wires popping outta it."
Maul laughs and catches his manager giving him a dirty look. He wipes the smile from his face as he begins wiping down the bar in an attempt to look busy.
"Man, I wish I could get outta here and see the galaxy. You make it seem almost magical."
Rusty finishes his drink and slams the glass down on the bar. Maul fills the glass and reaches it back to him. It's a routine he has grown used to at this point.
"Well, what's stopping you?"
Maul shrugs.
"Ah, I can't really afford to buy a ship right now, I'm struggling enough as it is. Hell, I'm not sure I would even trust myself to pilot one if I did have one."
Rusty gulps down another beer. He and Maul had both lost count on how many he had had.
"Listen kid, you always treat me with respect when I visit the station." He burps. "So hows about you buy my next beer and I'll give you my old Sidewinder. It needs a lot of work but I'm sure you could get it up and running in no time."
Maul smiles at Rusty briefly before quickly grabbing his empty glass and filling it back up.
He sits the glass down on the bar in front of Rusty and extends his hand.
"You've got a deal."
Rusty begins to take a drink from his beer but the bar manager stops him.
"I'm sorry Russel but I'm going to have to cut you off."
"It's Rusty." Maul corrects his manager. "His name is Rusty."
Rusty smiles and looks back at the manager.
"That's fine. I was just leaving anyway."
Rusty extends his hand to Maul.
"I'll have the old Sidewinder transported here for you. I'll even cover the transportation costs, how's that sound?"
Maul shakes his hand.
"Thanks, Rusty."
Rusty smiles.
"You'll love it out there, kid. Trust me."
Rusty drunkenly stumbles toward the exit.
"See ya next week kid!"
