Distant Worlds

After going dark for the last couple of weeks, months even, i came across the Distant Worlds expedition and was immediately fascinated by it.The sheer scale of this expedition was awe inspiring, the amount of planning and data crunching that must have gone into it are beyond anything i could come up with and albeit being late to the party, i decided to join the expedition fleet.
I had always planned on going on some exploration trip of my own but never managed to make myself take flight and just go.
Yesterday i powered up Sanguineas engines and headed for my homebase in Tarach Tor to pick up my Diamondback Explorer and head for the starting system for the expedition fleet.
Today i'm further away from colonized space then ever before and this adventure has only just begun...
