Voyage to Eta Carina Nebula

14 Nov 2020veritech
This was my first voyage as the lead ship.  I posted the information for the trip in every large starport with in 30 light years.  My fleet carrier was parked in LFT 1349 to gather supplies.  I needed at least 3000 tons of tritium.  I grabbed 4000 ton of tritium just to be sure I had enough to make the return voyage.  I gathered a crew of miners and explorers to seek our riches in Eta Carina.  Some of the commanders were real rookies and other commanders were gritty core and laser miners.  I had heard good things about system Eta Carina Sector EL-Y d19, there was 2 planets with pristine metallic rings.  We left at 15:00 on October 26th on 3306.  We planned to return on November 9th 3306.  As the Long Space flight started I noticed I was using much more tritium per jump that I had calculated for.  After about 4 or 5 jumps I figured out it was a software cliche and the Frame Shift Drive was calculating cargo that was going to be  bought in the Nebula but was not on board yet.  A quick couple keyboard strokes later and the Fleet Carrier was using 87 Tritium per jump.  After a 9 hour space flight I arrived in system and was pleased to find 2 Lagrange clouds in system.  There was many biological and geological signals in system.  I started landing on planets and looking at the biological signals.   I found bark mounds on many moons, the bark mounds are very boring.  I preferred the Brain trees.

I believe I was the first to visit the Ostrinum Brain Tree Forest on Eta Carina Sector GB-X c1-2 B 2. 80,000LS flight out to the planet.  It was a beautiful site.
After this exciting find I went looking for more life forms and more great sites in the galaxy. Next I found Luteolum Bell Mollusc in system Eta Carina Sector JH-V c2-9.  I took about 20 minutes of flying around to find the Molluscs.

I had heard of some great sites to visit in GCRV 6493.  It was over 600 Light years but the flight out was fast in my Asp Explorer.  GCRV 6493 is one of the most beautiful systems I have ever visited.

While I was GCRV 6493 I found P04-Type Anomaly.  This was another beautiful site and while I was drinking in the views I was attacked by the P04-Type Anomaly, I guess I had gotten a little to close.

My next stop was the Thaile HW-V e2-7 Nebula.  Amazing Blue colors surround this system.

In system I found my first Lagrange storm. The Lagrange storm contained many L06-Type Anomalies and Albidum Peduncle Tree.

Now I was 2500 light years from the Eta Carina Nebula and I plotted a course back to my fleet carrier using the neutron highway.  After 15 jumps I was back on deck and I needed to deal with the miners.   While I was away the miners had mined over 2000 tons of painite.  This was very good.  I was told of Guardian Relics in Eta Carina Sector EL-Y d16 so I started buying Guardian Items and I took my SRV to the location to see the relics for myself.  I spent a day collecting 50 Guardian Items at the ancient relics.  I had noticed that the price of Guardian Items had gone up by almost 100% since the last time I traded in them.  This mission was very profitable by the end of the mission we had mined over 4000 tons of painte and 3000 tons of metals.   750 tons of core mined minerals was also onboard.  I started the 9 hour space flight back on November 9th 3306 at 15:00 just as planed.  When I got back I was able to sell all the painite in one day but the core minerals took a couple days to sell.   I had to deliver the metal.   I was later informed that one commander did not making it back on to the Fleet Carrier in time for the return trip and was left in Deep space with a 22 light year jump range.  I hope he makes it to someone else's fleet carrier some time soon so he is not left in the  blackness forever. I had 760,000 worth of codex discoveries and about 20 million in trade data to sell. This was a good voyage I will soon plan another.
