Tendite in astra viri

The House of Altieri is one of the youngest yet influential noble houses of the Empire. First records of the Altieri family can be found dating back to 2292 when the colonization of Achenar began.

Officially, the house was established after the family’s involvement in colonization of Cemiess. Thanks to considerable contributions of the Altieris during the early stages of colonization and armed conflicts with the Federation, the family was elevated to noblehood by Emperor Gaylen Trasken Duval in 3104.

In 3125-3151 Altieri family was involved in the First Thargoid War. Due to heavy losses suffered by the family, including the death of head of the family Andrew I Altieri, they have almost completely stopped their involvement in global politics and they mostly disappeared from the halls of aristocracy. The family resurfaced once Sergius Altieri had been established as the new head of the family in 3301. Under his leadership the family re-established it’s contacts with all prominent families and rapidly grew back in strength. In less than 2 years the family commissioned their own flagship, the Majestic Class Interdictor, the Andronicus.

The establishment of the palace of princess Aisling Duval on Emerald in the Cemiess system created tensions between the Altieri and the Duval families. The growing popularity of Aisling and her ideas brought a flood of supporters into the system gradually reducing the presence of conservative Altieris in the system. Feeling frustrated at the dwindling significance of the family in the system, Sergius decided to abandon his duties as the head of the family in 3304, took command of the first ship he found in the hangar, and set off without a word. Sergius was reunited with part of his family, when his brothers accidentally saw him for the first time after 2 years in the halls of Lavigny’s Legion in Carthage.

Today, only a few family members are known:

Sirius “Seraphim” Altieri - current head of the family, was born in 3277, took this place after Sergius Altieri defied family. Thanks to that, he prefers a more peaceful lifestyle than his brothers, as it allows him to deal with his duties as the head of the family.

Sergius Altieri - born in 3270. Former head of the family. Left the family without saying a word, but reunited with them once his brothers joined Lavigny’s Legion. Although officially shunned due to circumstances regarding his departure in 3304, he remains in good relations with his brothers.

Augustus Altieri - the youngest brother of Sirius and Sergius. Augustus was born in Achenar in 3281. At the age of 19 he joined the Imperial Volunteer Corps for a year and a half. After that, Augustus went to Imperial Military Academy at Facece. 4 years later a young officer joined the glorious 528th Legion of Her Majesty-Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval. Today he's still serving the Emperor in Her Legion, became an Aurelian and also joined Chapterhouse of Inquisition as an Initiate Inquisitor.

Blazar “Virtue” Altieri - Born as the bastard son in the Altieri family in the year 3828 and then got “disposed of” and kidnapped by pirates to be a child soldier for a Federation industrial tycoon. After being captured by the empire, he then fervently joined the Empires Navy and became a legionnaire after much hardships in the 528 Legion of Her Majesty-Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval. Later on Blazar was approached by the new head of Altieri Family and was given the opportunity to be acknowledged as it's member. He secured his position as one of the "Virtue" ranks in the family. (The Virtues branch family is a combat oriented one. Since the term virtue might be linked to the greek root of dynamis which is translated into virtues or power.)

The rest of the family members remain secret and unknown.
