Yesterday, 9:15 pm the Rusty Star has initiated the first of several jums to its first waypoint Eta Carinae. More than 90 commanders have joined the expedition. We will reach Eta Carinae in htree or four days. 150 ly away, the Caroline was found close to a neutron star havinng no energy to communicate.We are hopng that the crew has reached the security compartments and they will be found well.
A lot of material has been collected and will be transported by a second vessel, the Akagi, to help and repair the Caroline. Commanders are prepared to board the Akagi in Eta Carinea on Friday and Saturday to deliver food catridges, polymers and other stuff to the stranded ship.
We all have to be very careful to get this done without loosing any of us.
