It was a slow day today, didn't accomplish much but administrative work. The Valkyrie is undergoing some emergency repairs and won't be ready to fly again for 3 days. I don't know how much more of these meetings I can take at Command. I can't wait until the seemingly endless staff duty shifts end. Oh well, such is life I guess. Gotta get through the boring shit before you can get to the exciting stuff. I'm excited to finally be heading out into the black. Today was just full of disappointments. I sat in my apartment most of the morning until I had to run errands. The days are just seemingly bleeding together. Hopefully things will sort out when we get flying again. I've been watching a lot of old Television shows from the 20th century. Man, people were crazy back then, the things that they found entertaining are enjoyable to me. Sometimes I feel as though I was born in the wrong era. I don't know. A lot of shit has been going on since I left the EEEF, and the medical issues I've been having arn't really helping anything. But, I'm trying to stay busy to keep my mind off it. Teklese contacted me the other day, he signed his contract with Pointman. I'm glad things are finally coming together now. We just have focus on mission readiness and getting out there and recruiting some more people. We've really only been at it for a few days. We flew the other day and ran some supplies so that Teklese can get his Sol Pass. I can't believe how long it's been since we've been back to Sol. I stopped at Earth the other day, but was only in orbit a few hours before jetting off to Hudson's system to take care of some stuff for Federal Command.
Well, I'm getting sleeping and distracted. Well, I have more admin crap to do tomorrow. So I better get to it.
