Well, it's been a long ass day, but it's finally come to an end. After waiting the last three days for ship repairs, Logistics finally came through, oh, and with the help of our extremely talented IT tech, Luna, the crew was able to get the communications issues repaired and we were able to finally launch from the station. The Valkyrie handled beautifully. I really missed being out in the void. That medical leave was pretty brutal. It wasn't the procedure or recovery that was particularly bad, it was just the sitting around with nothing to do, which then has a profound effect on one's mental health. But here we are, finally seeing the light at the end of the frame shift tunnel! ha ha haToday we set off from Sol, it was a little hard leaving Earth behind again, but I am anxious to get out and begin our new adventure. I contacted our crew and we set off for Nanomam. Once we arrived we docked at Gresley Dock. It was a pretty quiet station, I believe a lot of commanders were out in the black running their operations and conducting business as usual. It was a pretty peaceful day. We start running official ops for PMI on Monday, I have to say, I'm pretty excited to be back. Once we got situated at Gresley, we loaded up several units of supplies and headed out to LHS 2088.
It wasn't that long of a trip to get there, I believe it was only 1 jump actually, I'm just happy that we were running supplies in a 'Conda finally! LOL
So after we left there, we headed on over to Tanaka Terminal and met up with our contact there, a woman named Marilyn Aguilar. She seemed genuinely glad to see us, yet I'm not sure why, they didn't exactly look like they were hurting for supplies over there. Oh well, we did what we needed to while the crew offloaded all the supplies and then we headed back to Nanomam. It was a pretty short day for us, just trying to get back into the swing of things for Monday.
We had two interdiction attempts by unknown contacts, however we were able to avoid interdiction both times. Nothing further to report.
