It has been three days since I have made a logbook entry. We have been very busy jumping from one neutron to another. The only breaks were when we dropped out of super cruise to repair the jump drive and after securing the ship for the night either on the float but more preferably on some planet with at least a half of G. I sleep better with a little gravity. And Ellen gets more grumpy after sleeping in zero G. And I do so want to avoid her grumpiness.
Oh, we did spend the night of 4 November on the DSSA Glomar Explorer.
The only other thing of note happened yesterday. Either the AI screwed up or I plane forgot to drop out of super cruise, before I initiated Frame Shift repairs. A loud bang and a massive jolt to the spacecraft sent my cat flying, frantically flapping her little space wings only to bounce off of the canopy. She got extra kibbles last night. Ellen was pissed at me too. Said something about me getting my wings out of a box of Cracker Jacks instead of flight school. What is a Cracker Jack? I will have to look that up.
We have arrived in our area of operations within The Trojan Belt. I anticipate doing a concentrated boxel survey looking for signs of these supposed lost ships. Don't worry, I am not going to miss out on collecting cartographic, geo, and bio data. There is money to be made on this wild goose chase. I have never seen a goose.
