An Explores Journey to Beagle Point

In early November 3306 I got the explorer’s itch, again, and started plotting a course to Beagle Point. In all my previous trips into the Black, I would plot the entire route and follow it. This time I just chose a general direction and let curiosity take over. On 12 November 3306 I pointed my Asp Explorer towards Sagittarius A* and set off. As I neared the Cat’s Paw Nebula it hit me, why not jump from nebula to nebula while heading to Beagle Point. On a previous journey to Colonia I visited numerous nebulae, so using ED Discovery (ED Discovery has tracked all my trips), I plotted a zigzag course to Colonia visiting new nebulae.
Nine Nebulae and over 40k LYs later I arrived at Colonia, again. I quickly re-supplied, said my farewells, and headed towards Beagle Point. I again jumped my way from nebula to nebula past Sagittarius A* reaching the far side of the galaxy. At the Phoenix Nebula I pondered heading straight to Beagle Point or visiting the last two nebulae in this part of the galaxy, the explorer in me won and I headed towards the Winds Of Enlil then on to Thueche Brahe Nebula my last before Beagle Point.
I plotted a straight line route from Thueche Brahe to Beagle Point and about 10k LYs into the leg the stars thinned and I could not find a jump towards Beagle Point. Searching the Galaxy Map and ED Discovery I found Lone Star and headed that way. Using twelve jumponium jumps I finally reached enough stars for my Asp to plot a course to Lone Star with my normal 54LY jump.
With eleven more nebulae and over 107k total LYs, on February 12th 3307 I entered Beagle Point and to my surprise there were two Belugas and one Hauler at the Beagle Point Tourist Beacon.
Now that I’m at Beagle Point, half way through the journey, do I head back to the center of the galaxy or go somewhere I have not been… I headed clockwise from Beagle Point towards 'Flying Flea' Nebula.
22k LYs, and quite a few Jumponium jumps later, on February 24th 3307 I reached the 'Flying Flea'. The space madness was creeping up on me, but there were only three more nebulae before I could finally head back to the bubble. Working through the madness, with the help of the Neutron Highway, and 90% of my AFMUs, I reached my carrier, Star Explorer, on 11 March 3307, safely back in the bubble.
The journey took four months, and was just over 179k LYs. I visited 25 Nebulae and discovered 21 Earth-Like Worlds. It took me selling 64 pages of carto to sell all and I received 2.9b Carto. There is a picture of the ED Discovery map of my trip and quite a few photos of the nebulae I visited in My Gallery.
