Captain's Log, 18/06/3302 - CNE Day 6-7

I've been stuck in a nightmare. Surrounded my closed systems. I could swear they were moving in on me.Anyway, after a lot of backtracking and searching, I finally made it clear and started on the right path to Waypoint 5. It's a hell of a distance and I've covered a lot of space today, 106 jumps. I just checked the distance to WP5 and, well, I almost gave up. Over 2500 Lys, and that's in a straight line. By the time I've finished, it's going to be at least 3000 Lys.
The up side is. . . the region of space I'm in at the moment is fairly undiscovered, so I should be raking in the bonuses, providing I make it back. If nobody hears from me within a week, please come looking for me.
I'd better get some sleep. It's going to be another long day again tomorrow.
