Captain's Log, 03/07/3302 - CNE Day 17

Waypoint 10, the Crab Stadium in the Crab Nebula.It's been a long journey and I'm happy I made it in one piece. Exploration has it's highs and lows and I've endured both. It's also very lonely. I think I went 2 weeks without meeting another CMDR. But now it's time to head back. Back to the bubble, Back to civilisation, Back to trading and back to war!
Still, it's going to take me at least a few weeks to get back, so there's time to reflect on all I've seen and yet to see on this great expedition.
Explorers are a rare breed, being alone for long periods at a time, then meeting up with fellow explorers and going crazy for a few days.
Could I do this full time? Probably not. But every now and then. . . . . .. . maybe.
Time to reflect on the journey so far. Feeling a little sad that the end is in sight and the journey home must begin.
One last look over my shoulder. . . . . then on to the next system. Jump and scan, jump and scan.
