Sad day today, had to sell my Type 6 (Ling Ling). Just did not feel comfortable flying around in it. Was interdicted a few times while heading for port. Got away by the skin of my teeth.The good news is I now have Ling Ling II. A brand new Keelback. Much better armament and feels a lot more comfortable. Just waiting now for someone to jump me.
I've still got my Cobra III, so getting the Keelback put a huge dent in my finances. I'm trading like hell to get enough money so that I can kit out my new girl with the best that money can buy.
The other thing I'm struggling with is my rating. I've done a lot more trading in the Federation than I have in the Empire. Not yet had a promotion in the Empire, but one is just around the corner. Also another promotion is due in the Federation. One of the advantages of working on the edge of the Empire is you cross over quite frequently.
Should I concentrate on just one system, or carry on working on both? Or should I head over to Alliance space and start there too?
Time to hit the rack, let the engines cool down, and prepare for another hard days graft.
