Today's had it's ups and downs. . . . . First off, I made a very expensive rookie mistake!
I wanted to try out my new weapons and ship set-up, so I set off in cruise mode hoping that some unscrupulous character would interdict me. I was in luck!
Lesson learned. . . . A Keelback, no matter how well you equip it, is not built for combat. I should thank that Eagle driver, but I won't, because he cost me over 200,000 credits.
I loved flying around in my Keelback and it's great for trading, but can't really defend itself.
So. . . . . . I've made a decision to move on, or should I say, step back into my Cobra Mk. III.
Eventually got back into it, and straight away, spent some money on upgrading it further.
Better weapons and shields, and an intermediate discovery scanner. Can't improve on 36 tonne cargo though.
Straight away, it proved to be the right decision, as during my working day, I was interdicted numerous times. Managed to bag two miniscule bounties and frightened off a few more. They didn't even manage to scratch my paintwork.
BRILLIANT!
I finally feel safe and secure.
My next step is to head off into the Empire and try and improve my ranking, and hopefully make a bit of money too.
I love my Cobra. . . . .
