It's getting harder to keep my eyes open.I've had a fairly good days missions and trading, a little smuggling now and then can be quite profitable.
Unfortunately, I got bounced a couple of times by the fed's and ended up with some hefty fines. Then can be quite sneaky when they want to be.
All in all, just over one and a half million in profit. Still just short of my promotion. Hopefully, tomorrow.
I finally managed to sort out my weapons and had a chance to try them out. I was interdicted by another Asp, but, apparently, everything working perfectly and managed to pick up a nice bounty too. My first since fitting a kill warrant scanner. Should have done it sooner. Almost doubled the prize money.
I must make a note to head back into Federations space again tomorrow. This Empire keeps creeping up on me.
I'm also keeping an eye on my finances. I know this Asp Explorer is a good ship (trading and combat), but for some reason, the sound of the engines is just not right. It's starting to sound like a motor boat on a canal.
So. . . . a few more million, and maybe I'll treat myself to a Federal ship and go off exploring. My intermediate scanner is definitely paying dividends at the moment. If I can get out into uncharted territory, I could come away with a nice bonus.
