Frustrated. . . . . . .
Day started off great. I'm back in my Cobra Mk.IV so first thing I do is fit it out with some good stuff.
When it came to shields, I thought I'd give the Bi-weave shields a try. Got a decent fit-out and was ready for the off.

My first four missions went well. A bit of smuggling doesn't hurt anyone so I gave it a go. Netted almost a million with those first 4 missions. Everything going great.
My conscience got the better of me, so I decided to go legit. Picked up a few delivery missions, high value cargos.
This is where things started to go wrong.
I managed my first delivery, but on the way to my second port of call I was interdicted.
I dropped down thinking I could handle anything with my setup and new shields. BIG MISTAKE.
It turned out to be a pair of ships and as soon as they started firing my shields almost vanished. Desperate, I tried to make a run for it but the old girl was too slow and she was shot out from under me. Half my profit gone already.
So, I paid off the fines (expensive) and loaded up with more cargo and missions and set off again.
Within the hour, it happened again. These bi-weave shields are a waste of time and money. There goes the rest of my profit.

First chance I get, I replace them with a standard shield generator and get back to work. Unfortunately, all the high paying missions seemed to have dried up. So, it's back to the grind of picking up anything which pays. The good news is the shields are working great, and I manage to pick up a few bounties along the way.
By the end of the day, I've almost made up the million profit I started with, plus I managed a promotion in the Federal Navy to Petty Officer.
It could have been better, but it wasn't a complete disaster it could have been.
Bunk time again. Tomorrow is another day.
Do you like it?
