Ah, I see Azimuth needs more materials to finish the Proteus Wave. I don't really want to head back to Synuefe XR-H D11-102, but that's the ruin I know best. I've spent literally hours there digging up old Guardian junk, just like countless other CMDRs. Maybe I should search the net for info on other sites and take the Morningstar out to somewhere less crowded. It'd be nice to learn a new layout. It'd also be nice if Nicole could join, but I haven't heard from her since I fronted her the cash for her first Sidey a couple years ago. Maybe I should reach out. Maybe I should wait for her.... Nah, it's not worth it. She's just going to turn me down anyway, like she always has. I know she wants to get into AX combat; we both grew up in Azeban City, so when the bugs came to the area she begged me to take her up. I said I didn't have the rig to fight them, and it would be months before I got it together. So, I got her a Sidewinder and got her signed up to fly on her own. I should have at least taken her to see the damn things...I've been to Bug Killer a million times. I've gotten my junk irradiated by their scanners more times than I can count. But no. All my dumb ass could think of was she wanted to see me swat one, and I'm still scared shitless of them. No doubt she thinks I'm a coward.
Nope, I'm going to grab my carrier, head back to the black, and grab more Guardian junk. She's probably off drinking Lavian brandy with her buddies, getting ready to zoom and boom against a Hydra or something. She probably doesn't give a shit about me anymore. I'm sorry I even tried.
