Screw This

I've collected another...114 tonnes of Guardian stuff, and I'm tearing my hair out. I set up a holo screen above my internal panel, and I'm using it to watch that old film Jurassic Park. Terrible CGI, but the T-Rex puppet still holds up 1400 years later. The problem is I keep paying attention to the movie and crashing my gorram SRV. I've had to synth two repairs so far, and I had to hop out once to fix some busted wiring. I know I need to keep my eyes on the road, so to speak, but this salvage work is just so boring. Screw 512 tonnes; if I take one hold full—244 tonnes—I'll have the stake required for that paintjob. Once I make that delivery I'll need to make a list of all the materials I need to collect, and then I'll fly around to Guardian sites with my Scorpion and max them all out. I'll make sure to get everything I need for Jumponium, too. And now that I'm a billionaire again, I'm thinking about buying another Krait for bounty hunting or maybe I should finally get around to outfitting my Vette. She's sitting there in limbo at Flade Enterprise in LHS 28, waiting for my attention. Or maybe I should just spend some time working on my AX skills, because most of what I've been doing for the past year is flying around in search of engineering materials. I wish I could just buy the damn things with credits, especially the stuff I need to upgrade my suit. It makes no sense why I can't.
I'll probably sign off until I hear about the aftermath of the Proteus Wave activation. It'll probably go over as well as Alan Grant's excursion to Jurassic Park.
