I thought last round would be the last of the Guardian mats Salvation and Azimuth needed. Then they renewed the call and I lost pretty much all drive. Just like last time, I'm going to do enough to get that paintjob. The FOMO is too strong. I think I'm going to work on maxing my Gauss synth materials while I'm at it, and then once that's done I'll head back to GR1 and grab a full Python. Then I'll spend the rest of the week swatting bugs. I read a recent logbook post from CMDR PhoenixBlue0 in which they asked whether this violence would continue if we simply left the Pleiades, Witch Head, and California nebulae. We would never know unless we tried, but I doubt it. I also think they would have found us eventually within the Bubble if we hadn't incurred into their space, so to speak, and attacked us anyway. Let's not forget what they did to my former home station, Dahan Gateway. I lost friends. If all they wanted to do was mind their own business, they wouldn't keep making incursions into the Bubble. And while those who made first contact sadly didn't make it, I seriously doubt they shot first. Anybody who says otherwise is full of maclunkey.
