The Anomaly, Update

I stayed in Oochorrs UF-J c11-0, watching the Anomaly grow more intense as it approached the main star. Then, I watched as it changed course. No stopping, no hesitation. It just turned. The other CMDRs present were able to calculate its new course before I could; it's heading straight for Oochorrs CS-F c13-0. Judging by its previous trajectory, its first known location was NGC 2264 Sector RE-Y c14-0, which is permit locked. Its speed appears to be more or less dynamic, slowing down as it approaches massive objects...just like supercruise. We still don't know what the hell it is, but a lot of us think it's probably a Thargoid megaship too massive for witch space and therefore forced to supercruise between systems.Because it changed its heading, we're no longer trying to figure out its final destination. We can only speculate, but there are a lot of logical options, including Sol and HIP 22460. I'm still not ruling out the idea that it's headed for GR1, but I think HIP 22460 is probably the most logical. We'll see what happens. Canonn is playing their cards close to the vest until they have more data, and I don't blame them. But we can rest assured that they will be tracking it through its entire voyage. Current guesstimates would put it in HIP 22460 in early November, so there's plenty of time to take more trips.
I moved to Oochorrs CS-F c13-0, and I'm currently staring straight at it again. It should be here in a couple days, and I have enough MREs to last until the 4th. But because of how mundane this thing is, I might head home early. The science-y types are a lot better at the math than I am, so I'm perfectly content in letting them do their thing. I've tried to communicate via audio with the Morningstar, but the radio waves coming off the Anomaly are overwhelming everything. I'm shocked I can get any text communications through.
I'm going to head back to the last system before I leave and farm some jumponium before I go, and I think I'm going to high tail it home after that. I have some juicy exploration data to sell, and I have a couple planets I might be able to get my name on, but other than that I'm already getting cabin fever. Maybe next time I should take Phanero, my Krait Phantom, so that I can get up, stretch my legs, and maybe do some tai chi. Or maybe I'll get myself a Jumpaconda. It's not like I'm suffering for credits, after all.
ETA: Canonn now has a route map for the Unidentified Interstellar Anomaly, as they're calling it. It looks like HIP 22460 is right in line with the current average trajectory. https://map.canonn.tech/route_uia.html
