Logbook entry

Thanks, Jupiter.

I have to thank Jupiter Rochester. He was a great diversion from my last few months of saving for my Fleet Carrier. It's been boring, but quite profitable running tourists that don't want to deal with station security.

Plus, it was worth a system permit. Restricted access means more demand, which usually means better paydays.

Still, nothing has compared with this cash. I've heard they finally fixed the defect on the Subsurface displacement missiles so I might be able to go back to mining, but I still fell nauseous when thinking about all of the Void Opals and Low Temp Diamonds that were rendered uncollectable. Maybe once I get my FC, I'll try again while stocking up on Tritium.

Once I can afford the FC, the outfitting, and maintenance I can take a break from passenger mission (for the empire, at least) and work on the engineers. I was taking a hiatus from flying when they were made accessible to the public, and as such I need to go out and find them, get in good with them, then go gather materials so that I can get some work done. The items they've made publicly available have really changed the battlefield. The Pilot's Federation ranked me as "Expert" before I , but that's not really a fair assessment of my capabilities anymore. Stock weapons aren't nearly as effective as some of the items I've seen used out there. And can barely do damage to some of the new reinforcements I've seen.

So, it's another week of passenger missions, then I can look for another way to entertain myself out in the black.
Do you like it?
