Log 005 - Formidine Rift Run

I don't think the food I cooked did me any good, I was up half the night with gripes and pains so it was late when I decided to set off from the Delta settlement. But the sun was up and it was much less of an intimidating place so I got a good aerial shot before I left. Before I left the system I headed over to one of the geological sites on the planet and farmed some more materials, refuelled the Scarab and then plotted a course for the Zurara. From here it is about 4000 ly, about five 800-900 ly chunks. I started off the first leg doing long jumps and got to Myoideau PN-B d13-4 fairly quickly. The second leg would take me to Muoideau PO-I d9-1 and I started out with economy jumps, but they were getting on for 40ly, so the stars are thin out here.
This was a 928 ly stretch and after 3 economy jumps I reverted back to long jumps and eventually got to the waypoint late last night. There was nothing special found so far, all of the systems that I passed through had been visited before, so I did a bit of mapping of planets that appeared to be unmapped and also the ones that would earn me some credits, a fair number of High Metal Content, Water and Ammonia worlds. Maybe significantly no Earthlike worlds where a desperate crew might have landed to live out the rest of their lives.
I put down myself on planet A1 for the night, I'm going to ditch the stuff that I ate last night - I don't have much more of it so it won't reduce my rations to any great degree.
Back on course for the Zurara tomorrow
