A new expedition - Log, Addendum

Since I travelled with Livvie (my sister, oh and not forgetting Mufty, her green friend) I've been in the Pleiades grinding my combat rank. And what a grind it is too. I was a Combat Master and 70% of the way to Dangerous, so I thought that another stint of shooting Thargoid ass would get me along a bit further. I have to admit that after a couple of days of it spent between Pleiades Sector HR-W d1-41 and Celaeno, jumping into Non-Human Signal Sources and attacking all of the Scouts I could find it wore a bit thin.
But I got to be Dangerous, so I guess it was worth it.
All I have to do now is grind my way through Dangerous and Deadly! I'll let you know later in the year.
On the plus side, when I returned to the bubble, there was a vidcom waiting for me at my place marked "Private, for your ears only". Talk about being dramatic, it was just a short message from Livvy asking me to call her back when I could. So I did.
"Hi Livvie, you called, a very mysterious message, what's up?"
There was excitement in her voice, "Hi Kris, I just wanted to let you know that I got a comm from the Pilot's Federation granting me a Provisional Pilot's Licence."
I was so pleased for her, "Hey Livvie, that's great, what does the 'Provisional' bit mean?"
"Well, basically it will become a full licence once I've enrolled in and passed a few combat simulations. And I already got enrolled, I'm just waiting for the notifications. None of this would have been possible without your help, so thanks so much for our little trip last week."
"Oh, right. You know that once you have the licence they'll loan you a Sidewinder and you'll have to pick it up in their protective enclave. My advice would be to stay in there until you're really used to flying it, learn how to trade in commodities, do courier missions and make yourself some credits before you leave."
"More good advice, thanks!" she said and added "But I can't come and visit you in Sol, I don't have a permit - yet", she added the 'yet' with an air of expectation.
"Don't worry about that, I'll set up a home station outside of Sol. Then we can get together there. Good Luck with the combat simulations, but I think you'll do fine."
With that we broke off comms. Now where to set up?
