By now it's an open secret that I am a special forces operator for the imperial navy.So it makes sense that my field operator has switched communications to letters to you. I'm still smarting about it, I'm sorry Jane, they gave me no other choice. I think it is too much of a risk to allow such brazen open communications regardless of the encryption protocol.
That being said, I am one that loves to take a rather flamboyant approach.
How is home for you? I heard the Wattingers have moved off world, their son has joined the Imperial College of Officers. I can put in a good word for him to join [REDACTED]. Provided he is ok with a bit of wetwork every now and again.
What can I say about my current objective. Its one of those boring operations I'm afraid. I had a great encounter with a Federation politician, he was rather fond of cock fighting, an old earth past time whereby chickens fight each other to the death. It is a bit bloody for my tastes. However since I have far too many slaves then I know what to do with, I set up a rather tasteless "Slave fighting ring".
Long, sharp scalpels were bound to their feet and the slaves had to fight each other to the death. Perhaps a more fatal weapon should have been used, it was rather bloody.
To make for a much more entertaining night. the reward was freedom plus a ship and 1 million credits to the winner.
It was a rather bloody affair. but I do believe I've created a new underground sport! Needless to say the politician I was buttering up had a hard on for the action.
Aside from political posturing, there were no exhilarating dogfights or death defying interplanetary combat manoeuvres this week ...No thrills and spills (other then slave guts) to enthral you with.
I have a lot of tasks lined up next week, I may not comeback alive. But if I do, I will have some amazing stories to tell.
