Greetings from Jameson Memorial in the Shinrarta Dezhra system.  Why am I nearly 7k light years from where we last left each other you ask.  Here is why, I have this problem, if you tell me not to do something I'm going to do it (brave/stupid).  After the Lakon update I headed out to the rally point.  All good.  Except I inverted for a photo op. invert in high grav = no don't do it.  Got side tracked because message traffic.  Relative orientation shift displayed via cockpit view in a bad way.  More than 2km elevation but couldn't correct so frantically trying to avoid it to no avail I nosed dived at Mach 1 into the planet's surface.  I'm assuming that I got knocked out because when I woke up I was back at Base Camp in the Soul Sector with a brand new ship courtesy of my insurance provider.  I didn't die, but kind of wish I did - I'm a bit embarrassed.

In the end that little mishap pretty much made up my mind.  I am writing this in the cockpit of my beautiful well appointed Gutayama built Imperial Cutter Barcelo Imperial (FJBI 21).  I forgot how nice this thing is.  Unfortunately though I was unable to find any Hutton Orbital mugs, but there are coffee mugs in my stateroom with name and hull number so that beats my previous predicament.

Transiting from Base Camp to Jameson Memorial and a round trip to Farseer, Inc. took the better part of the day. Transferring supplies from the DBX to the Cutter and getting her ready for the run out to waypoint 3 will take the rest. If I've got the time I may install the transfer unit I got in trade for delivering a few reports under the table. This thing I'm told turns liquids that are not rum into rum. Here's hoping this thing actually works.

Until next time.

Fly safe commanders.
