Weirdo.
20 Nov 2020Blitzkrieg Judy
--START LOG--I've been awake for two days, so what's better than recording a log for posterity, right? Right?
Sigh
I feel like I need to tell this story before alcohol starts erasing my memory so here goes nothing:
It was a regular morning in the O.C.S lounge. Everyone was asleep so I was walking around the place fucking around, the usual. Except it wasn't just like every other day.
I enter the canteen to find a man sitting at the bar (and in my spot, too.) But this dude just looked wrong, y'know? His eyes were not right. Shit, his whole body wasn't quite right... Anyway, I say something along the lines of never seeing other people there that early in the morning and order some breakfast before I sit down and he responds with:
"I generally like the quiet times. Only decent time I can think really."
"Can't say I blame ya, it's peaceful in here this early. By the way, I'm Blitzkrieg Judy, but Judy alone is fine." I answer while ordering some breakfast.
Oh and he was also eating, I think, so he swallows and says something like "I'm Servatrix, Serv is alright"
Then he asks what had brought me there and to be honest, I forgot what happened next.
All I know is we had a pretty good conversation and I even got to ask a bunch of questions about his past endeavors. I felt like he wanted to say something but couldn't. I didn't feel like pressing on the old Commander to talk, it just felt wrong.
*Blitz can be heard flicking a lighter*
Man, I should get some more cigarrettes next time I dock.
Oh, right, the story.
I ended up liking him by the time we were done talking. He used to be spec-ops like me and we shared some similar views on how things should be done. Hell, we even shared some of my morning whiskey and all. Good times.
I don't think much of it because I don't really care but I noticed that he was heavily augmented in a weird, non-aesthetic way and at the time it really grabbed my attention. Those limbs and eyes (which he was trying to hide under sunglasses but really didn't work.) looked very... medical? I think? like he had been in an accident and half his body had to be replaced with cybernetics.
So yeah, that's what I've been doing lately, my dear computer on a ship I don't really care for. It felt good to socialize for a bit, even if that same night I would find myself locked up in a cell...
But who gives a shit about that, wouldn't you say?
--END LOG--
Ugh
Wouldn't you say?? Who are you talking to? you weirdo.
What the hell is wrong with me...
