There was a time I thought my trip to the Veil Nebula was astounding. Now, I realize how small that was. I had traveled over 2,000 lys from home, the furthest I've ever gone. It was a relief to see human settlements, that's for sure. They have to be pretty self suffcient out here, like the settlers of old America in ancient times. So small, those times now. I wonder if in another thousand years, we'll look back at a single galaxy and think that is small too.
