Commanders die out here, everyone knows that. But most days its stupidity, lack of food, bone degradation, and malfunctioning ships. CMDR Thomaski, I hear, was found with his ship intact and food still well stocked. He wasn't hurt....he simply...passed away on his journey back from Beagle Point. I gotta say, its a good way to go, having reached the end of the galaxy. They must have been smiling when whatever got them did.
I'm sure he made it back home, faster than any ship too.
It must have taken quite the effort to put a beacon out here, but it was kind for the Pilot's Federation to do so.
