DAY 2 - Potato Monster
26 Jun 2019Cal-L
Another day spent discovering and mapping, with the distinct red shadowed nebula that I knew to be the location of Medusa's Rock, steadily growing as I hopped between systems. Finally I arrived at Medusa's Rock, my first sight of an asteroid base, very impressive, if oddly resembling a potato with teeth. Will need to grab a pic of it before I move on. It has only been 2 days out in the black, but seeing other ships again and a station, felt strangely disconcerting.
Visited the cartographers to sell my discovery data, their system must have been playing up, plenty of discoveries, however all of the star system names other than SIFI YF-G B11-1 were missing, with just a number of bodies. It was late and I was relying on taking a printout of their data, so I will have to return to them tomorrow to see if we can't figure out what was actually discovered.
The cartographers gave me a nice chunk of change for my data, and the discoveries were mainly back water rocks, but I still feel attached to them, so worth the time before I move on.
