Greetings from the Veil Nebula West!
Today marks the first successful trip beyond the bubble for Purity of Spirit and her crew since the retrofit and rebranding, and this trip was out to one of my favorite nebula in the galaxy, and in my opinion one of the most beautiful. At the time of posting, we've just made planetfall and taken tourists out in the SRVs to enjoy the sites. Now we're going to spend some time supercruising towards the nebula to hopefully catch some sights from significantly closer to the clouds and with less light pollution from nearby stars, and then we'll begin our trip home.
This flight was also a first in that we booked and filled all of the cabin space aboard, and we couldn't be happier with how things have gone on this journey. Captaining a cruise liner is a nice change of pace from all of the combat and hauling of cargo that I've had to do recently, and it feels pretty damn good to help some other people enjoy the vast beauty of the galaxy for a change. I expect there will be a great many more interesting and exciting voyages in the future!
