Preparing For A Long Journey

It's been a while since I've written a log. Longer still since I've gone out on a true, long distance exploration trip. And I've never really been out as far or long as some of the more seasoned explorers - I've still ever even been to beagle point before. Things are getting far too complicated in the bubble. The major factions are constantly vying for power and the smaller ones are never at peace either. I used to be a terrible combat pilot, but at this point I can probably say that I'm pretty well seasoned with it now - and I grow tired of the constant conflicts. And on top of that, there's aliens about. I've gone out to Maia with Kirameki to investigate again - just as I did the last time rumors were about, and I once again saw these strange, flowery ships. But this time there were other commanders with me, so I know for sure that I saw them. Things are getting just a little too crowded in my skies. So I'm going to spend the next week or so around Greeboski's, hauling some cargo and harvestng materials for some last minute upgrades to Kirameki. And once she's all set to go, I'll give her a shiny new coat of paint and then start a journey. I think I'm going to try and actually reach beagle point this time, but I'm honestly not sure. I'll decide where I'm going and what my goals are once I've started my trek.
