Inching ever closer

I'm only 5000ly away from Sagittarius A. The journey's been pretty long, and sometimes it feels like I'll never make it to the core - and yet, here I am, inching ever close. I'm really not looking forward to the return trip, but it'll be well worth the experience - the core awaits, and if all goes according to plan, I'll make it there before the end of this earth-week. I've got me a nice bottle of whiskey that I'm saving for when I arrive, and I eagerly await the moment I can crack the seal.
