There's a lot going on here!!

Been listening to Lave Radio and getting more of an understanding of the depth of this game and the "Background Simulation" etc. I realize I have only scratched the surface of this big galaxy.Been a Bounty Hunter, a Trader, a Miner, Honked the Advanced Discovery Scanner at various systems, landed at Planetary installations (but not yet been out in an SRV).
Last night, between Bounty Hunting and running missions to rank up in the Federation, I started investigating other things and found some items of interest.
- Dropped in at an UNIDENTIFIED SIGNAL
- I continued my journey and dropped in at a STRONG SIGNAL SOURCE.
I found a Wing of 2 Wanted Ships (Eagle and DBS) attacking 3 other ships. Did my civic Duty (and gained some Bounties by taking them out). Noticed that among the ships they were attacking was a Fer de Lance (CLEAN). Why they weren't dead when I got there, I will never know. The Fer de Lance messaged me:
"Keep your nose clean, Commander, countinue your journey". I imagine that there MUST have been a Mission somewhere tied into this little encounter, but it left me a little bewildered.
Found a HUGE Convoy of Type 9's rolling through space!!! I scanned them and found at LEAST one that showed WANTED. Was going to blow him up for the 81,000 credit bounty, but decided not to. Later I found a mission to "THIN THE POPULATION" and kill "SMUGGLERS". Maybe this was a SMUGGLER target? Wanted cargo ship in convoy with other reputable traders? Didn't take the mission, which was in another system anyway, but a convoy of Type 9's was a sight to behold.
Lots of stuff to see around this galaxy. Have to check the "EXPLORE PLANET IN SRV" box as well as "DO SOME PLANETARY ASSAULT MISSIONS" in the coming weeks..
