An unfortunate event

I've been reticent in making more entries since my last exploration trip. In a moment of bravado, trying to fly through a canyon with Valkyrie, I ended up crashing my ship on a planet I had landed on losing all the exploration data I had accumulated. I was unable to cash in on the cartographic data and sank into a funk. It wasn't until yesterday that I had mustered the fortitude to head out into the black ocean once again. I resolved to re-visit the two earth-like planets I had mentioned in my earlier entries. I'd kept the entries private, however, so that I would still be able to lay claim to their first discovery sometime in the future. I'm currently approximately 10,000 light years from the bubble making my way back. I'm a mere 16 jumps from my former first find in in the system of Pueloea KF-A d60. I've found another earth-like and now am excited to get back to share my finds with Universal Cartographics... If I can keep from wrecking my ship again.. This time, I've resolved not to take such a foolish chance with my precious information. The system included three other terraformable, high-metal content worlds which I took the time to map, including two that were orbiting each other. If I could have named the two planets myself, I'd name them Vulcan and Romulus after the old Star Trek planets.
