My first Void Opal mining by myself was a success. Finding the Rock with them in is the time consuming part.. but once found, fly round applying seismic charges until the graph is in the blue for optimal yield.. not much difference if you go over.. wait a minute for the rocks to separate after the blast, don't stay too close, 1km+ or the blast wave will knock you sick.. use abrasion blaster to knock off the chunks and use your collector limpets to go fetch all the goodies.. make sure cargo scoop is open. Filling the hold I couldn't do as I ran out of collector limpits, but I will buy better quality ones next time, that have a better range. selling them at SOL HG Wells hub for top price, I made 298,000,000 in no time at all.. very happy and thoroughly enjoy mining. My python is a very capable mining ship. Although I would like to see the docking computer as standard so I can have another cargo rack
