Flying open in Deciat. Questions?

So, I had a word with the resident engineer in Deciat. She insisted in having need for exquisite focus cristalls. Well, I took off to harvest some. And was attacked by a Krait MKII, before i even got off the Launchpad. I tried to engage my FSD, but was killed. OK, so I decided to take the fight to this commander, whoms name I will not honor by telling it. My trusty A-rated but barely engineered Challenger stood no chance against the ganker. And I woke up in the prison colony for firing in the non-fire zone, to add insult to injury. This cost me about 8mill rebuy, and 100cr for the warrant. Why are there no anti aircraft missiles on these installations? If they fine me for my feeble try in proactive selfdefense, they can damn well insure my wellbeing by shooting these gankers down. Hell, they might even harvest some materials for us to use in the process. Then these disturbed individuals would have a reason to exist. Just saying.On the other hand, i always see the deportion to a penal colony as an invitation to earn the money and some more back on the way to my former port. So I did something against pirates in Yu Tun, generally killed off some undesirables and helped democracy or at least solid corporate interests against the Pirates, dictators and feudalists in this universe. It makes my ongoing search for materials and credits not easier, but i like to be on the good side. Most times.
