====================RECORDING START====================

This is Specialist Lyric, and I'm recording this logbook as... Well, I'm not really sure what I'm recording it for. One of my friends in the corps was mentioning how they record their own logbooks to track personal events and... I guess I thought it was a neat idea, so here I am.

So... I'm basically a combat technician apart of a military task force called Centurion. We're a decently-sized mercenary force operating under guidance from TITAN Contractors. And... without saying too much, I'm part of our primary ground task force, Cobra. It's... been an interesting few weeks, to put it bluntly. Exciting, really. I've always been interested in this kind of work, but... well, I guess this job offer kind of hammered it home. It's a permanent position, thankfully. Have to pay the bills somehow, and they're paying very handsomely.

But, unfortunately, since it's a permanent position... it means I had to leave home. My new home is aboard the T.O.C. Solaris... a massive fleet carrier owned by TITAN Contractors. I must say, it's an incredibly impressive vessel. The interior is massive... and just watching all the crew float around as they go about their business... But, today, I'm on a planet. It's in the Kruger 60 system, planet B 1. We're using this planet today to host the last bit of our training exercise. The biggest one, and the last one... It's been incredibly gruelling. Can't help but feel tired all the time, but thankfully it's coming to an end.

Right, this training exercise... I'm a bit nervous, if I have to be honest. It's a big non-lethal campaign where our commanders have split the whole force into two teams. Each team will be on opposite sides of the arena, which is around fifty kilometres wide if I remember correctly. We've been told that we have to fight against each-other, advancing and capturing territory as we try force the 'enemy' to surrender their HQ. Pretty much a textbook military conflict... but if you ask me, it's just a little counter-intuitive that we now have to fight against each-other after having to train and work together for the past month.

... At least it's just non-lethal. Right now, the others are busy unpacking our equipment as we set up our HQ... and here I am, checking my equipment in the pressurised habitat... I would've been done by now, but... I dunno. I guess I really decided to record this log to ease the nerves a little... and... maybe it helped.

Alright, I need to finish up. Some of the teams are moving out already... Well, here goes.
