Okay... Well, where do I start? It's been a busy few weeks to say the least... but things are starting to get worrying again. Eclipse was deployed against the Neo-Marlinists alongside the Epsilon Fornacis empire group, and... needless to say, collectively we all emerged victorious. But something still doesn't feel right. I guess what I mean to say, is that it feels like we've only just scratched the surface. How many other factions support the Neo-Marlinist Order? If anything, based off ACT statements, they're a lot more widespread than we thought... prowling, waiting to strike.
I guess this isn't the right way to start off a log, but it's been moody around here to say the least. Apparently, some Guardian artefacts were stolen from the Solaris holding bay and we only just found out yesterday. Some weird datapad was rigged to breach the network when they found it, and currently they're trying to decrypt the logs on it. Feels like we're walking on thin ice around here constantly, and it... bothers me. It's kind of like when the Solaris had its frame-shift drive sabotaged a while back by the maintenance foreman... he was some Neo-Marlinist believer. Thankfully, I wasn't around to experience that, but the stories just... I dunno. I'm probably drawing unfounded parallels.
But, it doesn't help that I was on guard duty around the holding bay when the incident happened on the 6th. If someone snuck into the holding bay, we should've seen it. Though, they could've snuck in when we changed shifts. Damn... And I was just starting to enjoy things around here...
