Okay... Things have calmed down a bit here. Thanks to our squadron, we have enough medicines now to treat all the casualties. That's at least some reassurance... And, maybe not all hope is lost. We examined Dr. Gray's quarters yesterday, and found this weird device...
I'm sitting in the workshop right now, with it in front of me... Never seen anything like it, to be honest. It's home-made, but using a pretty old alloy. Not sure what its purpose is, but it seems like some kind of data storage device. Sadly, it's powered off, so I'm not sure if we'll be able to crack it. No obvious way of powering it up either, and I'd like to refrain from tampering with it... because, well... this thing must be a few years old at least.
... Maybe this device could help us figure out why he went crazy. Killed all those people... Or, we could be wasting our time, and this is just some kind of collector's item. No... No, surely it's something... Has to be... What's the time? Right... I should maybe take a break, I've been sitting here for four hours. Way to go... jeez.
Well, I guess I'll go grab som-... Hold on... It's booting up. What the hell? I... I have to go.
