Well... It has been one crazy week. Since my last log, Tori got released, thankfully, but a lot more has happened since then... And I mean a lot.
Apparently CSF has a secret black-ops division. That's fine... to be expected... but they wanted to shut down G.R.I.D - the security network we literally all depend on. And Tori was the one who was going to do it. The real kicker was finding out she was actually an operative for them, but I guess she couldn't tell me.
Things have gone downhill since then. CSF isn't allowed to access G.R.I.D anymore, and the security teams here are carrying out their own investigation with Mantis. We've had a few wins, like having some survivors come forth and give us a description of ship that attacked us, and we suddenly found the Guardian artefacts that were stolen last April... but all that got swept away when we got bombed again.
T-they... uh... they blew up the briefing room... which killed a lot of the guards... Injured some of the operations crew. It's really scary. The attacker just walked straight into the briefing room. Blew himself up... Couldn't even identify him through the security footage. Now, because a lot of the important operations crew members are out of action, Mantis has effectively taken over.
I hear they're working with some of the Commanders in the squadron to decrypt some information they found. I'll be honest... it pisses me off that I can't do anything. CSF have just put all of us on extended guard duty. We should be hunting down these bastards. Not letting them continue their damn reign like they own us. I don't want to do anything stupid, but I can't just sit here and do nothing.
