Aurora here. So, we had a power outage on the cargo deck yesterday. I was convinced it was another attack, but it got attributed to a mechanical failure, so I went with a team of other specialists to find the fault.
Not sure how to explain this... So... in secure holding, there was a Thargoid item just... sitting there. The power was out throughout the entire deck, obviously, but it was the first time I've seen a Thargoid device... When I called it in, even the comms were going fuzzy, but they told me to not get close to it. The air was like... shimmering around it. I know some of the Thargoid equipment is caustic, but it was mysteriously beautiful. Glowing with this weird pattern. Almost made me want to get closer.
Anyway, we eventually figured that it wasn't an item from storage. We do have Thargoid items onboard, but this one didn't come from any container. Like it was just placed there by someone. I don't think we'll ever figure out why. We never seem to get any answers around here. I got told that the camera snapshot of when I found the device was given to the investigation teams. I got a copy too, and I don't know how they'll make sense of it, but if they do... Well... Who knows?
Maybe we'll get some answers.
