I was right. It wasn't over... Today is... today is a horrible day. EMBER killed our Squadron Commander. They planted a... a bomb in his ship... And they just killed him.
We managed to trace the detonator signal and find them, after all this time... and arrest them. But it feels too easy. After all this time, we find them just like that? Just because they slipped up and made a mistake that allowed us to trace them? After all they've done? They've killed so many innocent people...
I don't know how long I can record this for. I didn't know him personally but... if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have a job. I wouldn't have met all these awesome people. It hurts... we're family. How could they do this? I'm just glad we have some of them in custody. I pray this is the last straw, that we can shut down EMBER for good - and finally get rid of them.
