Well, the training simulator has been a little harder than I expected, but I'm making fair progress. I've gotten basic movement down at least, and the Captain who gave me the simulator has been giving me some pointers as well.
I'm pretty excited. This goal of mine doesn't seem too far away now, and while I'm still struggling with some more advanced manoeuvres, I'm sure I'll get there... eventually. In other news, it seems the memorial service for Quinton is almost ready. I spoke to Tori a little today, and it seems like EMBER is gone for good. Arrested and taken into OMNIPOL custody... so that's good. I guess that means the memorial can go ahead without any hassle.
Maybe my request for normality around here has finally been heard. Though, I'm not sure how the squadron will feel after the memorial. Do we just... go on? What changes? That's probably not the right thing to ask right now... but... I dunno. I just need to stay focused on my plan, and then we'll see where this goes... Fingers crossed.
