So... turns out the Peacekeepers put a three-man team on my ship to watch me. God, I don't know whether to feel... really angry... or relieved that they're trying to look after me... But I left for peace and quiet. To spend time alone... Not have babysitters who reveal themselves after being on my ship for two days.
Though, I guess they did their homework... or it was obvious from the get-go... but Tori's apart of the team. We were good friends while I was still a specialist. The other two are just normal Peacekeepers. Truth be told, I haven't really... spoke much with Tori since all of this happened... and I suppose this was a good opportunity to do so now, but I got really mad when they revealed themselves and probably blew my opportunity... so that's just great... Other than that, I'm feeling pretty good. I'm sleeping better, at least. Doesn't change the fact that I still don't want to speak to anyone... but it sure feels like that part is optional to some. An investigation is going on back at the Solaris, and apparently someone wants to speak with me privately.
That's fine, I guess... but, again, I don't think anyone is getting the memo as to why I'm doing this. Whatever, maybe I'm just being unfair. I said I'd step up to the challenge of Squadron Commander after all... and although I'm still having mixed feelings, deep down inside, I kind of feel like I enjoy it. A new chapter in my life. Something that truly gives me purpose. Heh... wow, that almost sounded like a movie quote...
Anyway, I'm going to go spend some time alone... and try think of something to say to Tori. She didn't really deserve that outburst... but on the other hand, hiding on my ship to effectively spy on me with two other people? Not cool... Well... maybe the word's will come to me eventually... For now though... I have a spectacular view to gaze at while I think.
