CMDR Log - #030
Star Date - November 20th 3308
System: Sirius
Planet: Waypoint - orbit
Location: Patterson Enterprise

Alright . . . We're up and running. All systems are online. Green across the board . . .
Ship boot-up wasn't too much of a hassle.

So, I finally went in on some much needed upgrades.
Saw the doc back at Mars High in Sol system.
He hooked me up with a sweet new Achilles cybernetic. It's integrated with some Vandermeer medical tech.
Ophthalmic biometrics and a neural synthesizer. Thing's top o' the line.
Streams my bio read-outs right to my eye and even links up with my suit.
High-resolution, premium quality, heck I can even read Galnet on this thing just by lookin' around.

It was finally time for me to settle into a new ship too.
The Nebuchadnezzar . . .
Decided on a Krait Mk2. Dunno, just seemed like a good all 'rounder with plenty to offer.
It's nothing special, but it sure is a lot of ship just for lil ol' me.
Maybe I'll have to stop by the lounge and recruit some of those lazy pilots to man this thing.
I wonder if Vicky back in Galileo would be willing to fly again ? . . . nah, she's an old retired vet, I doubt she'd want to babysit me.
But I dunno yet, I'm still more of a solo runner anyways.
And I'd hate to have to deal with all the drama that comes with crewmates.
For now, I'm just getting used to things onboard.

The ground crew are working on final checks and transferring materials over.
I'll keep that old Cobra around though, we've had too many good times together to ditch her now.
Gonna roam around the ship and read the manual for a while.
Definitely looking forward to givin' this bad boy a test drive.
Thing's even got a coffee machine!
The old man is gonna be jealous when he sees this one.
