The Club. Power, conspiracy and deception

01 Feb 2020Cluster Fox
[Cluster Fox Log – 31 Jan 3306]

Lately, all I encounter is conspiracies and events of the strangest nature. Some are tinfoil stories, other strange and dark tales. However, this one is verified, suppressed by GalNet and important for humanity, so if you do not know about The Club or the Zurara mega-ship, hear me out.

I will not hide the name, speak of it in code or half-whisper it. The Club. It’s a dangerous cult of puppet masters, with tremendous power and influence. They are stronger than the Alliance, the Feds and the Imps. They hid the Targoid threat from humanity, then manipulated superpowers into breaching treaties to ramp up overall military assets before the Targoid attack of 3303. The Club is extremely influential and has tentacles everywhere.

Benevolent? I doubt it. Look into the Formidine Rift Incident, the Dynasty Project and the story of the Zurara. The Zurara was a state of the art mega-ship, imagined, funded and set in motion by The Club, all covertly. The Zurara was sent in the Formidine Rift, but the project was designed never to return. Once they reached their destination, part of the crew were found to be sleeper agents, hypnotic-conditioned to kill everyone on board and themselves. The slaughter was planned from the start, and they were behind it all.

They own Bill Turner, they own GalNet, they do whatever fits their agenda. They were once exposed by Denton Patreus and Arrissa Lavigny-Duval before the Targoids attacked. However, one would have to be extremely naive to think that their reign has suddenly come to an end because of that fact.

The Club. Such a benign name for such a threat. A few individuals holding so much power is hard to fathom. Managing cover-ups at the scale of a galactic sector requires more than employees and credits, it requires the kind of loyalty one can only get from a cult, and even then, possibly involves other unspeakable things of terrifying implications.

My research is taking me to stranger spheres and old accursed archives at the edge of sanity, but I will keep you informed.

Cluster Fox out.
