Private log: #001 - Conflicted

Ok here goes, I've always hated the idea of these damn pilots logs but I can't not tell anyone how I'm feeling. It's these damn bugs, I'm lucky, I got out to Colonia just before they started attacking Palin. There are commanders I know back there defending and dying for our part of the galaxy, but I'm no fighter, never have been. I know it's only a matter of time before they turn their attention our way all the way out here in Colonia.
That's why I'm back in my trust exploration Anaconda, I've set a course to uncharted space in the Orion-Perseus Conflux. Not to run you understand, but if what I think will happen comes to fruition, we'll all need to find another safe place to call home. I may not be able to fight, but I can find us a new place that we can call our own.
